Quick answers to the questions we hear most.
It is one number between 0 and 100 that sums up what your measurements say about you right now. Higher is always better. It is built up from the areas we measure - your body, your blood values and your answers about how you live - so it moves when those move.
Every value is compared with the reference range that fits your age and sex, and that range carries a score from 0 to 10. Those scores are added up per area, and the areas together make your Zaffire Score. The ranges come from our Chief Medical Officer, not from the software.
Nothing is counted against you. A value we do not have is left out of the calculation - it is never treated as a zero and never guessed. The screen tells you how much was counted, for example "3 of 8 values counted", so you can see how complete the picture is.
You enter them yourself, from the report your laboratory gave you. You can add a new report whenever you have one, and each report keeps its own date so you can see how a marker moves over time.
Because something in your input changed: a new blood report, an updated measurement or a different answer in the questionnaire. Every score we calculate is stored together with the inputs and the version of the model that produced it, so an old score is never quietly rewritten.
No. Zaffire shows you how your values relate to reference ranges and turns that into a score you can follow over time. It does not diagnose anything and does not replace your doctor. If a value worries you, take it to a doctor.
